Great work sir! Especially loved the ABRACADABRA sequence, great gag and the transformation to bunny was superb ! Thanks for sharing the making of's too!
Great short. I watched on a french website, 3dvf.com, so i discover your works. You have all my respect, you're a master in your part ! I 'll add your link on my own blog zden.fr.
Really Cool!!! you've inspired me to work more on 2d animation. And now i know why i always transform those annoying flies into rabbits. Thanks =P Looking forward for more =D
Hey, this is fantastic! I don'tknow anything about animation but your characters are really nice. I had teh feeling that lately some cartoons were kinda ugly and it is great to see there are some animators with talent out there. The subject rocks also and I hope you keep doing more. GOOD LUCK! :)
You're stuff is so inspiring, Stodoe! You have such clever and hilarious ideas. I burst into giggles when I saw the Jaws drawing "STEVEN, TURN IT OFF! ... I don't know how!!!" Hahahaha. Awesome. I hope we get to work together someday!
David Stodolny (Stodoe) has been animating and drawing since he was 4 years old. He grew up in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. After highschool David attended the Classical Animation program at Sheridan College (where he acquired the nickname STODOE). David then pursued his life long dream of animating for a living. He's started working on TV shows and direct to DVD features in Toronto while working for Nelvana and DKP. He eventually moved to C.O.R.E .Feature Animation, working on THE WILD which gave him the experience to move down to LA to work for SONY PICTURES IMAGEWORKS. David contributed to such films as OPEN SEASON, the Academy Award Nominated SURF'S UP, I AM LEGEND and CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS. Currently David is working for Dreamworks where he worked on the Oscar nominated HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON the upcoming KUNG FU PANDA 2 and is currently helping finish PUSS IN BOOTS.
